Day 1
Fly to Quito. You will be greeted by our friendly representative and transferred into the city.
Day 2
You will have a private tour of Quito. Your tour will focus on the impressive historical plazas and cobbled streets of the Old Town. You will continue north to visit the equator line, where you can straddle both the northern and southern hemispheres.
Day 3
You will drive into the impressive Mindo region of the the cloudforest, just over a couple of hours from Quito. Here you will stay in a lodge for a couple of nights, to take in the spectacular scenery and look for some of the 600 recorded bird species.
Day 4
You will explore the surroundings with your guide. If you have a specific interest, then do let staff know.
Day 5
An early start for your flights to the biodiverse Amazon rainforest. You will be greeted and transferred deep into the Yasuni National Park by a combination of vehicle, motor canoe and paddle boat. Here you will find the impressive jungle lodge, your home for the next three nights. All activities and meals will be included during your stay, as well as the services of an experienced naturalist guide.
Day 6
Mornings offer the best chance to spot wildlife, so be prepared for early starts and busy days! Typical activities include nature walks, canopy tower climbs and leisurely trips by paddle canoe.
Day 7
Many lodges in the Amazon are set in dense forest with surrounding walking trails to explore. Your expert naturalist guide will scan the tree tops and water’s edge, pointing out lurking caiman, playful river otters or perhaps a colourful macaw along the way.
Day 8
Fly back to civilisation today. You will be transferred to your hotel near to the airport – it is worth getting an early night as Galapagos flights are usually quite early! Make sure you’re prepared with $120pp in cash to cover Galapagos taxes and entry fees tomorrow.
Day 9
Your Galapagos adventure begins today. Keep your camera to hand and get ready to spot lazing land iguanas, diving blue footed boobies and rambling giant tortoises!
Day 10
Exploring the Galapagos with your naturalist guide. Your itinerary will take in a variety of the most interesting islands, including boat trips, snorkelling and occasional hikes. All food and excursions are included during your time on board.
Day 11
Exploring the Galapagos with your naturalist guide.
Day 12
Exploring the Galapagos with your naturalist guide.
Day 13
You will disembark and fly to Guayaquil.
Day 14
You will meet your guide for a tour of Guayaquil, taking in the most impressive areas of the city. This evening you will fly back home.

Welcome home!
