Your hacienda will be able to arrange horse riding trips from simple short tasters for beginners through to longer full day outings for the more advanced. Discuss with staff locally the night before. Please note it is not a legal obligation to wear helmets when horse riding in Ecuador; your lodge will have helmets so please do insist on wearing one if it is not offered initially.
